So now that we're bigger than the Beatles (100 people at our launch party? Top that) I figure it's about time we start shedding our credability. We're gonna be doing Old Navy commercials in less time than it takes you to say "Sell-Out!!." So it is in this spirit that I bring you this weeks Snobcast where I will feature songs from commercials.

This is actually a response to Ankertill Brewer's post on this very subject. How do we reconcile our hatred of Big Business using our favorite little bands to sell their shit. I think the consensus is that CD sales our down and our favorite bands need to make money how ever they can. Doing a commercial or a soundtrack for a summer movie isn't necessarily selling-out now but more of a necessity for them to keep making music.

OK, some of the bands here don't even need the commercial money, but I included them anyway for reasons that'll be obvious. Starting with the most obvious: "Fortunate Son" (just to get it out of the way).
