I am so excited to see Bat for Lashes play Larimer Lounge Oct. 5th. She has such a cool, eerie vibe to her voice. The video for "What's A Girl To Do?" reminds me of Donny Darko. Which is to say it is awesome. Judging by the buzz around this song, I'm not the only blogger who'll be at this show. This makes me feel a bit ordinary. Fuck it! I like this song and I want to share some other songs/artists that I like. For example, Regina Spektor. Man do I have soft spot for weird piano chanteuse's. I almost went that way for the entire Snobcast but I was quickly thrown off course by the eccentric trickster Beck. His "I Think I'm in Love" is off last years album The Information. It took me a while to get into that album but an advanced copy was given to me for my b'day last year (thanks Ivvy) and It really grew on me.

Speaking of birthdays, one more shout out goes to Nina. Her field day b'day was authentic. Next up: Ivvy's b'day (Sept. 23rd) then mine (Sept. 26th). Sweet geeze.

Let's here some music.
