The Monolith Festival this weekend turned out to be the best festival I've ever attended. This is in direct contrast to the last music fest. I was at which was the most disgusting gathering I'd ever seen. Monolith was a nice change from all other music festivals. Yeah, yeah, it was in the most gorgeous venue ever, but it was also hassle free. Everything just ran smoothly and I was able to see at least a couple songs from everyone worth seeing (except, maybe, Au Revoir Simone).

So most of what I've got for you this week is from my favorite bands that played this weekend. Most notably, Matt & Kim, Art Brut, Bob Log III, and Flaming Lips. However, this isn't specifically a Monolith Snobcast (I've already done that), so there is plenty more good stuff this week (Tegan & Sara, CSS, The Rakes, ect.).
